In 2011, Cristina’s family had decided to move to Colorado. Her father was just finishing his 20 year service in the Marine Corps and they wanted to start a new life after his retirement. Cristina graduated from Discovery Canyon Campus in 2013 and during her senior year she grew a strong interest in joining the Peace Corps because of her family’s bicultural, military background. She had become seasoned with knowledge about traveling and about all different types of people and their hardship. After completing a year of college, Cristina decided her path was to focus on work instead of school. She entered the insurance industry in 2015 and has grown to love everything about it because she knows her customers can depend on her quality of work and efficiency at times of need or stress. When she isn’t working, she’s typically involved in creative activities like painting with watercolor or dances with her Halau as a Polynesian dancer.
Ali has grown up in Colorado Springs, and loves to go skiing, hiking, and is learning photography. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pikes Peak Community College during her senior year of high school as a concurrent enrollment student. She is currently a marketing student at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and on the President’s list. She has spent nearly four years in the hospitality industry, and currently works as a group sales coordinator at a local hotel.
In her internship role with the Brian Galetta Agency, she works on business marketing, and content writing. She also spends her weekends during the winter coaching alpine ski racing at Winter Park.
