Community Supporters
Red Leg Brewing Company was established on July 4th, 2013. They are located at 4630 Forge Road STE B, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907. Red Leg Brewing Company is a Veteran owned production brewery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Red Leg’s unique name is derived from the Civil War battlefields, where artillery soldiers wore a cardinal stripe on their pant leg to denote their location on the field of battle. Red Leg provides the highest quality craft beer to honor the men and women who currently and formerly served in The United States Military.
Community Outreach and Volunteer Opportunities
The Cannon Crew is Red Leg Brewing Company’s community outreach team. The love of craft beer and a need to serve the community has brought patrons and staff members of Red Leg to rally together and volunteer in the community however they can. In December, the Cannon Crew assembled at Care and Share Food Bank Southern Colorado to help sort food for families before the holidays. Currently, they are helping with the Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity Veteran Home Build. Members in the community who are interested in joining the cannon crew can do so by filling out the volunteer form at: http://www.redlegbrewing.com/cannon-crew.

The picture hangs at the Marco’s Briargate location, and depicts words that community members said come to mind when they think of Marco’s.
Marco’s Pizza was established in Colorado Springs to connect the community, and to support good works. Instead of starting a nonprofit — which would compete with existing non-profits in the area for funds, volunteers and publicity — the Cheatham and Parker families created a casual spot for people in the community to gather and a place that could raise money to support good causes through the sale of food and drink. In just six and a half years, the list of organizations Marco’s has helped already numbers over one thousand. This community also enjoys the affordable, tasty offerings, not just the mission. While Marco’s consistently is voted “Best of the Springs” in the “Philanthropic Business” category, it also has placed in more than 10 other categories, such as “pizza,” “al fresco dining,” “gluten free,” “salads,” food with a view,” “sub shop,” “restaurant for kids,” “caterer” and “place for a first date.” Support for good causes takes many forms through Marco’s and members of our community continue to discover this tremendous resource and force for good.
At Marco’s Briargate location, the coffee shop inside seeks to raise funds for good causes. The coffee beans used there are locally roasted by Mission Coffee Roasters in Colorado Springs. Marco’s also supports the community by opening up their “Emans Communitas Room” in their Briargate location for use by members of the community.
Next time you are thinking about feeding your family, office, team or other group; consider Marco’s. Buying pizza, salads, hot subs, wings and gelato there helps support a worthy cause. Stop by to see the great people at Marco’s, and grab some delicious pizza while you are there.

Sasquatch Cookies
Sasquatch Cookies is a small, local business that began in August 2017, and is a lot like a pizza delivery company, but with cookies. They offer eight different types of cookies, and have the option to have cookies delivered by Sasquatch himself. They strive to leave good footprints in the lives of those around them by giving 10% of their profits to local feeding projects. In 1996, founders of Springs Rescue Mission began providing sandwiches to homeless people in Colorado Springs in parks and under bridges. Sasquatch Cookies is proud to partner with this local food bank by sharing their profits with members of the community in Colorado Springs.
Sasquatch Cookies also uses cookie boxes that are from a brand that uses recycled, degradable, natural or sustainable packaging. In addition to being eco-conscious, Sasquatch Cookies does their best to avoid food waste. All extra cookies are donated to a local food bank and they purchase foods in season, creating their unique seasonal cookie flavors.
